Mid Level - total compensation to $200,000 The Mid Level Programmer position is responsible for keeping our trading systems up and running. You will configure trade system and infrastructure, and you will develop utilities, infrastructure and scripts to make the job easier and make systems more reliable. You will be first-line support, and when a problem occurs, it is up to you to diagnose it and work with your colleagues to fix it. This is a good job for a smart person entering the field. We're looking for candidates with a couple of the following skills and attributes: Good core Java skills C++ experience (Windows or Unix / Linux) Good C# skills Understanding of complex, multi threaded systems Experience with TCP/IP communication Solid Linux experience Good communication skills An ability to work in a high stress environment A person that is easy to get along with Senior Java Developers - total compensation to $250,000 The Java Developer position is more pure development. You will enhance our trading capabilities by modifying existing libraries or creating new libraries on which our trades depend. You will develop utilities for traders. Your group is also responsible for the automated build and test systems, to make our trades safer and more error free. This position requires expert-level Java skills. The right candidate must have most of the following (note we're happy to talk to expert developers from outside Java, we do more than Java plus Java's easy to learn): Good core Java skills C++ experience (Windows or Unix / Linux Understanding of complex, multi threaded systems Experience with TCP/IP communication Solid Linux or UNIX experience Good communication skills Good object-oriented and architectural design senses Direct responsibility for mission-critical systems Experience in the full software life cycle, from design through deployment and support Guru Programmers - comp negotiable The Guru position is pure development. You'll enhance (or rewrite) our Trading infrastructure software, write frameworks for others to use, and mentor more junior level developers. This requires many years of development experience, preferably in multiple languages on multiple platforms (at least including C++ on Windows or Linux), and you have to be sharp.
