This leading city based Asset Manager requires an experienced Fixed Income Product Specialist to join there expanding team. With responsibility for driving product sales the successful candidate will have extensive technical knowledge in order to deliver a clear consistent product message.
Role Responsibilities
Constantly seek ways to boost the profile and sales of specified products.
Ensure clear and consistent internal and external communication of messages regarding the team products and services
Assess the viability of new proposed products, services and make recommendations for modification of existing products and process
Co-ordinating the Investment and Distribution teams in the marketing of existing products and services
Work with the Investment team to ensure the investment process is always clear, documented and articulated internally and externally
Act as a spokesperson on behalf of the Fund Managers for new business, consultants, existing clients and press
Agree sales and marketing plans with business heads, desk heads and channel managers
Ensure that the process and philosophy for given product set is kept up to date
Play an active role is sales strategy and business development
Experience & Qualifications
Strong technical investment knowledge ideally at a Fund Manger level. Able to communicate investment messages to a range of audiences including consultants, intermediaries, marketing and clients
Detailed working knowledge of the Fixed Income Product and market trends
Proven experience of developing sales for a given product set
IMC qualified with a proven background in Investment Management
