Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking suitable candidates to join their Prime Brokerage team in Hong Kong.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
To work closely with various internal and external parties to ensure the smooth running of the Prime Brokerage Operations team.
Manage failed trades for Global Prime Services Business for all Asian Clients across cash equities markets' trades
Provide Asia coverage for non-Asia PB clients who trade in Asian Equities markets
Timely resolution to Buy-In Markets and High Cost Markets and prompt resolution on all other fails/potential fails
Liaise with clients, support team, settlement team and client representatives to resolve trade settlement issues
Trade support/processing for client transactions
Generate / Analyse fails and Pre-matching reports for clients
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Fluent English and Cantonese skills
Market knowledge in Asia Equities markets
Quick learner
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to cope with highly sensitive Asia markets
This role is allocated to front office headcount but our client is looking for candidates with strong operations/middle office backgrounds to take the step up to a role that deals with both internal and external clients. Therefore the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills.
Candidates with experience in other areas of Trade Support or Operations will be considered for other teams.
