Our client, a well established industrial US company with an enviable reputation world wide, is looking to recruit a Treasury Analyst who will be located in Luxembourg.
THE ROLE
The Treasury Analyst would report to the Head of Treasury (based in Brussels). The successful candidate is required to lead and support the following main responsibilities:
Prepare and follow up all necessary loan documentation.
Ensure compliance with financing agreement (ensure that payments or rollovers are made on time).
Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations related to the loan activity.
Periodical reporting on loan activity and balances.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to facilitate the decision making process and enable effective implementation of solutions.
Ensure adherence to the company risk management policies and procedures to reduce foreign exchange exposures on accounts.
Maintenance of the Bank and dealing authority letters.
Maintain the Treasury databases.
Maintain integrity of data in treasury system.
Work closely with the back-office to ensure deals are properly processed.
Participate in larger Treasury/Tax or finance initiatives.
Run the worldwide Inter company netting and settlement process.
Continuous revaluation of the process and tool to bring about improvement in methodology, maximum use of resources and methods for the capture and recovery of information.
Identification and follow-up of bank charges.
THE PROFILE
Business or Finance Degree.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the treasury area within a service or industrial company.
Knowledge of SAP.
Fluent in English and French.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills – ability to interact at all levels.
