Prestigious Investment Management firm in NYC is seeking an experienced Due Diligence Analyst for their expanding alternative investment unit. Responsibilities will involve identifying, evaluating and recommending hedge funds and portfolio managers for the fund.
The person will also monitor funds’ performance, contribute to asset allocation decisions and meet with investors. Applicants must be very familiar with the Alternative Investment space and have at least 3 years experience in a Due Diligence/Fund analysis role. The job requires thorough understanding of multi-strategy funds and expertise in evaluating strategies such as: Equity Long/Short, Merger/Risk/Arbitrage; Managed Futures; Distressed Securities; Private Equity; Relative Value and the like. The ideal candidate will also have prior trading experience in one or more of the above.
Base salary $100-150k + bonus.
