We are working with a VC investor which has a number of early stage funds under management. It has a new fund investing in Northern Ireland and is looking to appoint investment managers to join the team.
The successful candidates will take an active role in making new investments and in monitoring the business once a transaction has been completed. Candidates with an interest in Venture Capital will be considered from the following backgrounds; venture capital, technology transfer, transaction services, strategy consulting or within an early stage VC backed business.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience of working in; venture capital, technology transfer, transaction services, strategy consulting or within an early stage VC backed business
A working knowledge of small, high growth companies would be an advantage. Direct VC exposure is preferred although candidates will be considered from other disciplines
Genuine enthusiasm for VC, and the entrepreneurial environment
A strong academic record - a professional qualification (ACA, MBA) would be an advantage but is not essential
Sound commercial judgement
Compensation would be in line with market expectations including bonus
