SENIOR ASSOCIATE, VENTURE CAPITAL
This Philadelphia-based Venture Capital fund, focused on media, cable, telecommunications, and the interactive, infrastructure, and internet technology sectors is currently searching for a Senior Associate to join a small team of investment professionals.
The firm has been extremely active over the years and currently holds positions in a number of companies. The firm invests from early-stage through later-stage in all parts of the country. The firm has had significant returns on its past investments. Responsibilities for this position include analyzing and reviewing investment proposals, managing a comprehensive financial and business due diligence process on potential investments, gathering industry research, providing hands-on assistance to portfolio companies, among other tasks. Requirements: Three to five years of total experience which would likely be a combination of at least 2 years in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting .
Undergraduate degree from a prestigious four-year university; an MBA is optional
Familiarity with or interest in the media, cable, telecommunications, and Internet industries
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; significant experience with financial modeling, research techniques, and valuation methodologies
Demonstrated aptitude in understanding technology and technology-related industries
