Superb opportunity to join this Top 20 firm as a Corporate Finance Director looking at MBO and AIM CF deals
The London office of this Top 20 is currently seeking an experienced Director to join their Corporate Finance Department. The Corporate Finance Team have an ever growing client base, most of whom are AIM listed and are large private clients regulated by the FSA and based in central London and the City. Typical clients include asset managers, brokers and investment advisers, some of whom are listed on AIM. For those interested in furthering their career within corporate finance, this role represents a good opportunity for career progression within one of the firm’s fastest growing teams. The role will mainly focus on transactional services and will be assisting the Partners and Associates/Senior Managers in developing the Corporate Finance capability of This Top 10 in London through technical, commercial and people development. You will be responsible on a daily basis for managing the provision of a portfolio service to the clients. By promoting the brand image, you will assist the Partners and other Senior Management in developing the Corporate Finance capability and client base. In order to strengthen the department, a large part of the role will be to assist with the professional development of staff within the team and in certain aspects of your work, as appropriate, you will have seniors and juniors reporting to you. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or overseas equivalent) and have solid experience within a mid-tier Top 20 firm. In terms of client size, the department will handle a wide range of companies from £5 - £200 million, so the role would suit an individual who has the same breadth of experience and this experience should lie with AIM listed or similar clients. Essentially, the experience gained will be conducting due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and MBO’s. Private Equity experience will be advantageous but not essential.
