The Markit Trade Processing service is a web-based suite of solutions for automating over-the-counter (OTC) derivative post-trade processing, including among other, affirmation, confirmation and portfolio reconciliation services.
The position will be to lead global product management for Equity Derivatives within Markit Trade Processing.

Duties and Accountabilities
Work with top 25 equity derivatives dealers globally to cement Markit in its position as the number one OTC equity derivatives post trade processing venue
Work with clients to understand new requirements, prioritize these, manage production of specifications
Manage ongoing relationships with these banks, and the most important buy-side clients for EQD
Liaise with industry bodies and groups to understand the marketplace and changes in the trade processing environment (e.g. ISDA, AMF, OMG).
Represent Markit's expertise within the industry by speaking at conferences
Support sales staff for client pitches, solutions development, and in-depth product advice where required
Liaise globally with other groups in Markit Trade Processing to maximize take-up and revenue for equity derivatives clients, especially Sales, Technology, Customer Services and Client On-boarding
Work with other product managers within the MTP group to coordinate product development across asset classes, and customer types (sell side, buy side, brokers, administrators)
Manage staff within the equity derivatives product management team which you head (situated in London and NY, potentially Asia in the future)
Report status, progress, and metrics for equity derivative product to management and peers
Business Competencies
Knowledge of financial markets and OTC Derivatives is required
Good understanding of the mechanics of OTC Equity Derivative Products
Prior experience in working with clients
Some experience in managing or involvement in technology projects
Prior product management experience a plus
Some familiarity with OTC documentation (Masters, MCA, confirmations) a plus
Graduate preferred in finance/ numerical discipline
Man management desirable
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Strong problem solving skills
