The Director of Client Service has primary responsibility for the development of new business; the management of existing clients, engagements and Interim Professionals and participates in recruiting of Interim Professionals. This position will be located in Munich.

The Position
Responsibilities
Continually develop new business by identifying target clients, networking, meeting with target clients, and selling all Resources’ service lines.
Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication and regular client visits.
Sell projects to new and existing clients, clarifying the scope of projects with clients, identifying business solutions, presenting qualified Interim Professionals to the client, and negotiating contractual and billing arrangements in close cooperation with the Managing Directors.
Coach client and Interim Professionals on assignments, including development of project and progress plans, project counseling and controlling, feed-back on Interim Professionals performance and if necessary crisis management.
Pursue business referrals from other Resources Offices and coordinate openings and assignments with Resources collegues around the world.
Develop and maintain strong network of local Interim Professionals including regular communication in close cooperation with the Resources Recruiters.
Represent Resources in appropriate professional and community organizations.
Identify future project needs of client and minimizes engagement disruption through managing engagement and ensuring clients’ expectations are met.
Professional Qualifications Minimum requirements:
University Degree in Economics and education as Certified Accountant or Kaufmann (IHK)
Ten years of experience, including Big Four public accounting/auditing experience and management level experience in the Accounting/Finance or Internal Audit industry; a CPA or CISA is strongly preferred. OR
Ten years of experience in Business Development and Sales within a Professional Services or Big 4 or similar company based on solid knowledge in either Accounting & Finance, Audit, IT or General Management / Administration.
Fluent in English and native German
