This corporate finance team within a tier-1 global Investment Bank is currently seeking to add two associates to its market leading team based in Zurich.
The team enjoys long-standing relationships in Switzerland and consequently ranks as genuine market leaders in this space. The strength of these relationships enables the team to maintain a very healthy deal pipeline even in these difficult market conditions across M&A, Equity and various forms of Financing. In addition, the global reach of the investment bank as a whole enables the team to interact with other M&A teams, particularly London, in order to undertake cross-border deals with Swiss clients.
There are two vacancies in the team due to the current structure and volume of transactions currently being experienced. There are clear opportunities to undertake a high level of responsibility at the 2nd or 3rd year Associate level either within a pure M&A focused role or in a coverage position focusing on a broader product range. This is an excellent chance to further your investment banking career with a team which is able to sustain a good transaction pipeline in the current climate.
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
Will be either at Associate 2 or 3 level with a strong track record of executing M&A and/or other corporate finance products with a leading European investment banking franchise
Possess a demonstrable ability to lead juniors and liaise at all levels both internally and externally Knowledge or experience of working in the Swiss market would be beneficial but not essential
German and French languages would also be greatly beneficial but again not essential.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented and ambitious banker to join a strong team within a globally recognised institution. You will enjoy significant execution exposure and will be able to work directly with senior bankers to further develop your Investment Banking career. This also represents an opportunity to gain superb transaction experience in a highly visible team which will open opportunities to other geographies within the bank over time.
Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
