ALL OPTIONS is a privately-held company providing liquidity for several major financial markets and operates in trading units for market making and algorithmic trading in Amsterdam, Switzerland, Curacao and very shortly, Hong Kong.
The new Financial Controller will have to perform a wide variety of financial and financial related activities and has the desire to grow, together with the company, to a higher level of performance. He/she will act as contact for the financial partners and stakeholders, such as the accountant, tax authorities and regulator. He/she will report to the VP Finance who is based in Amsterdam.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Accounting and other finance related activities at group level and its subsidiaries
• Statutory reporting, i.e. consolidated and individual subsidiaries • Perform financial reconciliation and reporting • Set up financial analyses and translate the results into management information • Regulatory reporting to Dutch regulator and possibly other jurisdictions • Cash Flow management, taxes, etc. • Transfer Pricing and related reporting • Maintain AO/IC in line with company policies while continuously assessing its adequacy and implement improvements where necessary • Provide monthly management reports • Regularly liaise with Finance colleagues of foreign subsidiaries • Ensure financial compliance with company objectives and local laws/regulations
REQUIREMENTS: • Minimal Academic/University
• Preferably RA/RC/CPA (or obtained within 1 year) • Audit experience • 3 to 5 years relevant financial experience, preferably accounting or (project) controller background • Background, or at least proven interest, in financial (derivatives) markets • Proficient knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS is considered a pre • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) • Experience with Exact (or comparable ERP Package) • Able to work independently with a long distance relation with direct colleagues and other business partners • Hands-on, self starter and out-of-the-box mentality • Feels responsible for business results • Accurate – makes no mistakes in financial reporting • English – good in word and writing • Easy in communication by e-mail and phone • No 9 to 5 mentality / flexible and able to keep pace in a dynamic environment
