Institutional Fund Services provides a range of fund administration, custody and cash management solutions to institutional client. We are now looking for suitable candidate to join us as Product Manager.

The following table outlines the responsibilities of Product Managers. It is envisioned that these responsibilities will form the basis of the objectives / job description for each Product Manager.

Product Management (65%)

• Define the features and functions of the product offered to IFS clients on a regional basis

Work with Global Product Head to:

• Develop annual product plans that provide a clear direction where the product should evolve
• Determine the costing of the products to IFS business (ABC)
• Execute regional annual product plans, providing regular updates to Global Product Head

Work with Product Strategy to:

• Identify trends and understand the competitive landscape regionally, based on market and industry research
• Identify cross-product and cross-regional synergies and opportunities for new product development
• Conduct research on what competitors offer in price, functionality and automation
• Ensure support from IFS key stakeholders in delivering

Product Engineering & Manufacturing (25%)

• Engage Product Strategy / Sales & Relationship Managers to validate solutions to meet client needs and to ensure clients are involved early for product co-development as appropriate

Work with Product Strategy to:

• Develop and document business cases for new and enhanced products
• Ensure that the product development and project team deliver product solutions consistent with the product development life cycle process Product Launch (10%)
• Ensure internal and external communications are reviewed and updated or developed for new or improved deliverables
• Create product identities for all core product functions
• Ensure training plans are established for all new product implementation Reporting
• Depending on the location, Product Managers will have a direct reporting line to either the Global or Regional Product Head

In addition, the Product Manager will work closely with:

• Regional Product Managers
• Product Strategy Team
• Management Team (especially the heads of Business Development, IT, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance)
• Product Development and project specialists across all relevant office.
