Markit is seeking a Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 engineer with strong Exchange and Windows server systems administration skills to join our global Windows Systems Administration team.

Duties and Accountabilities
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Design and implementation of Exchange solutions, provide production support to Exchange systems globally
Managing and testing Exchange disaster recovery
Documenting internal messaging infrastructure.
Other responsibilities for this position include:
Selection of new Exchange server and SAN hardware
Managing and providing production support for systems associated with Markit’s corporate messaging environment such as Symantec Enterprise Vault, SMTP connectors, Postini
Providing 2nd & 3rd line support for MS Exchange and MS Domain-related issues
Exchange performance tuning
Business Competencies
Successful candidates will have:
At least 6 years strong Windows Server 2000 / 2003 experience with a prior role focused on Messaging and Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007.
Vendor accreditations including MCSE with a specialty on Exchange MCP’s and exposure to HP EVA SAN or equivalent, VMware ESX and Microsoft Clustering highly desirable.
Understanding and experience of financial services industry advantageous.
