Position: Business Analyst -Edinburgh JR Reference 202829 Salary: £40,000+ Bonus + Benefits
Due to business growth, an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a premier international investment management organisation.
As a Business Analyst you act as a liaison to the business providing assistance to identify business processes, workflow, business requirements and training. You will plan and conduct the analysis of business processes and systems specifically supporting the Sales and Marketing function but may need to support other areas as requested.
The successful Business Analyst will participate in multiple phases of multi-site, company wide projects. You will provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality throughout the development cycle. You will collect, understand and transmit the business requirements for the project translating these into functional specification and detailed test plans. As you will be supporting projects on a global basis it is essential that you have a flexible attitude and strong communication skills.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity you will be an experienced financial services Business Analyst who is experienced at defining business requirements. You should have the ability to prepare test plans for all phases of testing including regression testing. You should possess a strong PC knowledge including MS Project and Visio. Candidates should have a good understanding of all aspects of project management tools, techniques and methodologies.
