Working within the Investment Funds department you will be responsible for monitoring compliance with listing rules and provide assistance to fund applicants and assisting senior management in the management of the department.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Review of prospectuses and circulars to shareholders for compliance with applicable securities legislation
Monitoring investment funds for compliance with continuing obligation requirements under the Listing Rules, IEX Rules and relevant securities legislation. Investigations into alleged breaches of the Listing Rules or securities legislation by quoted companies.
Act as a senior representatives with applicants, sponsors and industry representatives
This is a key role and carries significant responsibilities that impact on the operations, reputation and perception of our client. Candidates must have superior analytical skills and be used to working to strict deadlines. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
The successful person for this role will have a third level degree, an ACA/ACCA accounting qualification (preferably in a large accounting firm) or a legal qualification (preferably in a large legal firm), at least two/three years post qualification experience and currently working in the funds industry.
