A group level position carrying out Regulatory Oversight for the London based Head office of an international Banking Firm
My client is looking for a top level performer with a background in Equities and capital markets compliance to work in a group role based in The City of London. As a senior manager on the Regulatory Oversight team you will be responsibility for providing assurance to senior and executive management that the Group's regulatory risk profile is evaluated and managed appropriately, through undertaking risk-based, global assurance and oversight activities and ensuring the effective identification, assessment, management and monitoring of regulatory risks in accordance with Group Risk Management standards. You will be the team specialist for equities and Capital Markets.
The right candidate for the Regulatory Risk Oversight team will ideally meet the following criteria: • In depth understanding of regulatory risk management solution delivery to business functions which includes operating in an oversight capacity. • In depth understanding of business strategy and operations in a globalWholesale business. • Proven track record of leading regulatory projects and delivering outputs to senior and/or executive management within a global financial services business. • Proven track record of regulatory implementation or oversight delivery. • Broad knowledge of Risk Management and Control appropriate to a global financial services institution. • Management of teams of multi-skilled professionals including responsibility for recruitment, staff development and performance management. Proven ability to manage complex projects and teams across different business areas.
