Responsibilities:
* Design, build and support information systems for various corporate risk departments.
* Support a highly diverse portfolio of applications including: Credit and Legal systems, Var Calculator, oil trading systems, financial & risk management systems, market price databases, and executive information systems.
* Design and build web based technology solutions as required by business units.
* Develop and implement financial models for the Corporate Risk Controls group.
* Evaluate and, as appropriate, implement technology that would allow access to business information via hand held devices using wireless technologies.
* Design, build and maintain Corporate Risk reporting web site for management reporting.
* Integrate various data feeds to the Corporate Risk database.
Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science/related discipline or commensurate work experience.
* Experience with creating and supporting applications in a Windows 2000/XP desktop environment, using Microsoft SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET (Visual Basic, C#), Visual Basic 6.0, HTML, MS-Access and web-based tools.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of management.
* Must be able to take the initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
* Knowledge of trading and financial systems helpful.
* Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services is a plus.
