Global Financial Technology provider seeks a Software Developer experienced in WEB-based presentation-tier design, development and maintenance using Windows-based technologies and platforms. As a key contributor in the development team, you'll have an integral role in team-oriented, hands-on object-oriented design, programming, product maintenance and unit testing.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities
Qualified Application Software Developer candidates will have at least 7 years of experience in the following areas: • Experienced with design and development of WEB applications encompassing financial accounting is required; experience with hedge fund accounting is a plus • Design, develop, unit test and maintain presentation-tier Web pages of a n-tier financial accounting system based on an n-tier architecture using Microsoft technologies and platforms • Experience with production-level design, development and maintenance of WEB presentation-tier commercial products with implementations based on ASP, ASP.NET with C#. • Highly proficiently in C#. Broad experience with the .NET Framework (1.1 and 2.0) • Experience with Third-party controls like Infragistics or similar. • Demonstrable skills and experience with browser-based technologies and languages such as HTML, DHTML, Java script, XML, XSLT, XSD, CSS, SAX, MSXML, AJAX.NET and HTML behaviors. • Mastery of object-oriented concepts (e.g., interfaces, abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism) and software reusability
