1. Accurate and timely follow up of all Corporate Actions events from creation till completion. Through CANS (Corporate Actions Notifications System) or SMDB (Security Master Data Base):
Analyze, challenge and transmit information received from our sub-custodians concerning Corporate Actions events to our clients
Through PSS (Portfolio Service System):
Reconcile the holdings influenced by the Corporate Actions events with our sub-custodians
Follow up on client’s responses and instructions transmitted to our sub-custodians
Manage deadlines on Corporate Actions events: monitor uninstructed balances, evaluate risks and actions to be taken with controller and team leader
Reflect the Corporate Actions events in the portfolio of our clients (through cash and / or security transactions)
2. Market Practices
Understand and apply market related procedures
Monitor on a daily basis subcustodian’s performance
3. Training
Learn and apply new procedures
Identify needs for improvement and propose new procedures
