As the Investment Specialist you will play a vital role in the development and operation of a new and exciting part of the Australian equities team. Reporting to the Head of Equities you will be seen as the key liaison between the portfolio and the relevant third parties. You will be responsible for the transition of external client investment portfolios into and out of the equities fund and the valuation of transactions to understand the risk and positioning within the portfolio.
In addition you will have responsibility for the production of daily reports, provide analytical and statistical support to portfolio managers and utilise knowledge of data flows and business process to identify continual improvement measurements.
As the successful candidate you will be degree qualified in finance, science or engineering. Previous experience in corporate actions, funds administration, analysis or quantitative research will ensure you are able to add value quickly in this fast paced and dynamic environment. A strong attention and a passion for financial markets is required coupled with exceptional communication skills
