Main objective is to continuously analyze investment analytics products/services (performance measurement and risk measurement) as offered by competitors, to understand and summarize requests from clients of RBC DISB for new products/services, to suggest and define new developments of products/services in order to remain one of the leaders in the industry and to meet our clients needs, to anticipate future trends for products/services. rbcdexia-is.com General position summary Main tasks involve drafting and negotiating legal agreements with external parties (clients, vendors, consultants...), legal support to the business and other internal customers (e.g. IT & Global Custody Services), as well as legal research and management of the regulatory watch. Tasks/Responsibilities
General legal advice on files submitted by senior management or business lines from time to time Validation/ drafting/comments of legal documents and projects relating to specific matters such as: - Credit agreements
- Services agreements (e.g. IT vendors)
- Capital markets (ISDA, GMRA)
- Global Custody Agreements
- Securities Lending Agreements, Fiduciary Agreements
- Review of pre-litigation files
Qualifications/Required Skills
- University law degree from a French or Belgian University (DESS, DEA or Maîtrise or Licence en droit).
- 4-5 years of experience in a recognized law firm or corporate legal department of financial institution.
- Fluent English & French (mandatory). German would be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Works closely with business units and develops good relationships.
- Provides timely and professional responses to all client-related and internal inquiries.
- Dynamic, service-oriented and committed.
