Role is responsible for the following:
• Accurate and timely scheduling of physical natural gas transactions according to industry standards and pipeline protocols; handle multiple pipelines and storage facilities; experience with the US Western region infrastructure preferred • Preparing various operational conditions reports and responding to the Energy Trading desk requests as needed in support of the business • Ensuring all scheduling cuts and discrepancies are resolved and properly recorded prior to settlements • Working closely with Settlements and Trading to ensure the timely and complete booking of tariffs, contracts and cost records • Performing and documenting various pipeline reconciliations • Identifying potential system enhancements and managing process improvements; participating in the spec out, testing and implementation process • Supporting the business 24 * 7 by handling off-hour scheduling issues as necessary </li> • Reporting and managing of Operational risk
• Ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
• 4 year Bachelors degree or international equivalent • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Natural Gas Scheduler
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role and knowledge of the scheduling procedures and protocols of natural gas business • Strong team player • Highly developed problem solving, communication and customer service skills • Strong computer skills including MS Office suite and adaptability to propriety applications • High level of attention to detail and client relationship skills • Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to operate under strict daily external deadlines • Proactive in assessing risk and resolving issues
