Our client is a highly successful investment bank. They are now looking to add an equity research associate to their team to assist in the coverage of European utilities companies. The overall aim of the role is to assist in the generation of outstanding equity research, and articulating your investment ideas to your institutional and hedge fund client base. The role would, entail, however: •Preparing company and market research papers - Financial modeling and analysis •Taking responsibility for the delivery of research services. •Delivering presentations to external and internal clients. •Identifying and executing themes suitable for research activities. •Oversee the maintenance of databases of key data Candidate background: •Graduate with a first degree or equivalent •Probably an equity research analyst, industry professional, consultant ACA, CIMA or CFA. •An ability to work in self motivated manner without close mentoring Candidates with financial modelling skills are preferred, although it is not necessary to possess a knowledge of the utilities industry. Fluency in European languages, as well as English, also preferred. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, established and well rated team.
