The group utilises its skills in research and risk management to originate equity-based financial solutions, products, and services for the firm’s clients globally. The Group currently has close to 2,000 professionals employed in offices around the world. Due to explosive business growth in 2007 and the anticipation this will continue through 2008, the team of financial technologists supporting this group are seeking an experienced VBA Developer to work closely with its Program Trading Team. In this role, you will be responsible for: • Designing and developing key Program Trading, and other tactical systems. • Establishing strong relationships with the business and IT stakeholders. • Working as a part of a team to deliver quality, robust solutions in a demanding business environment. • Taking responsibility for delivering to agreed constraints in terms of time, budget and scope. • Managing time accordingly across multiple simultaneous projects with differing priorities. From a technical perspective, the successful applicant will have an excellent level of experience in Excel development and VBA coding, as well as knowledge of other programming languages such as C# .NET and/or Java. They will be absolutely comfortable engaging their technical and financial skills to deliver systems within a demanding real-time environment, and should also have a good knowledge working with relational databases.
