Our client is a new, European private equity fund. Managed by an outstanding team of investment professionals, they have managed to secure a siginificant initial fund. The strategy of the fund is to invest in mid market buyouts, and take controlling interests. They have already made several investments and have a team of about 15 in London They are now looking to add an Associate, who will work on the following: - Origination and evaluation of investment opportunities - Conducting review, financial analysis, modelling, strategic evaluation and discussion with management - Preparing investment papers. - Transaction management – Day-to-day execution of all aspects of potential transactions They are keen on meeting people, probably at the 3rd year analyst to 3rd year associate level who will work for tier one investment banks or private equity funds. The successful candidate will have outstanding mergers and acquisitions experience (as opposed to a coverage team background) or could alternatively come from a leveraged finance background. The role is a superb opportunity to join what looks to be a very successful private equity at a stage of growth and development.
