Provide support and control to the Equity Derivatives trading desk of a global investment bank.
Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly/Monthly production of the Independent P&L Report
Proactive investigation and resolution of differences between the traders flash P&L and the Product Control P&L. Balance Sheet Substantiation
Assure proper reporting of results via the month end close process.
Perform monthly reconciliation of inter-company trades
Involvement in New Deal approval process
Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Trade Support, Operations, IT
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
1-2 years public accounting experience, CPA preferred
Current relevant experience in middle office or product control
Previous Equity Derivatives experience required
Strong, executable Excel spreadsheet skills. VBA a plus.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
Diligent and attentive to detail
