A leading Investment Bank in London is currently looking to add a Senior Quantitative Researcher to the Front Office team in London, to focus on equity & commodities quantitative research.
Role Description:
Implementing pricers in the pricing library
Delivering studies on pricing methods for quotation and structuring desks
Delivering historical studies (backtesting, etc.) on commodities and equities models for all trading desks
Implementing pricing tools from the results of those studies using python and possibly VB
You will work for the following trading desks: All commodities trading, Equities derivatives quotation and structuring, Equities exotic flow trading desks, Emerging Markets trading desks
Candidate Requirements:
PhD (or equivalent) in a mathematical discipline, with a proven track record of high achievement throughout your academic and professional career.
Significant experience working in a Front Office Quant team within an investment bank. Candidates from any asset class be considered.
Dynamic personality, and comfortable working in a front office environment
Excellent programming skills
This is a rare front office opportunity in the current market, and gives an excellent opportunity for an individual to work in a small team for a well established and stable company.
This role is not a management role but due to the compact nature of the team it is essential that you have previous experience working as a Front Office Quant.
