A $2B+ Private Equity firm seeking Associates for an immediate start.
Private Equity Associates will be responsible for screening fund investment opportunities, evaluating the trajectory of unrealized portfolio companies through research and due diligence calls with portfolio CEOs and co-investors, evaluating partnership agreements, monitoring investment performance and undertaking general industry analysis. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
*Assisting the Partners and Principals in obtaining and reviewing fund marketing materials to understand investment strategies and prior investment performance of investment managers.
*Conducting due diligence phone calls and prior fund analysis as part of the investment decision and discussing these results at Investment Committee meetings.
*Analyzing private equity industry trends and changing characteristics in client portfolios and creating presentations for periodic client meetings.
*2-4 yrs of Pre- MBA experience in a top tier strategy consulting, investment banking, equity investment management or private equity field. *Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Self starter with the ability to motivate others while working in a small team. *Strong GPA from a top school. *This is a two year pre-MBA position. MBA candidates will not be considered.
