Leading UK Corporate Bank seeks experienced Credit Risk professional to join in the capacity of Risk Manager.

Our client is a leading UK Corporate Bank who currently seeks an experienced Credit Risk professional to join their Corporate Banking Division.
Working closely with the Corporate Banking front office team as well as central risk function the role has broad exposure and will be involved in a variety of Corporate Banking transactions providing excellent long term experience.
Responsible for a team of 6-8 credit analysts and liasing with both front and back office you will have had experience of managing such relationships. You must be a strong personality with excellent leadership skills and extremely strong credit risk ability.
Key Responsibilities
Developing strong understanding of clients financial needs across the Multi National Corporate market place
Ensuring production of high quality credit applications across a team of credit analysts; applications will include renewal of facilities, increases and new business proposals.
Attending client meetings to assess from a credit perspective and in turn training and mentoring team members in the same
Overseeing the collection of relevant financial information, data and research in order for the analysts to produce complex and well structured credit applications with or without your input.
Work in conjunction with the corporate front office senior members to provide structured solutions which balance risk and return for the bank.
Manage the team effectively as well as developing their skills and progression.
Skills and Experience
Corporate credit experience is essential.
The successful candidate will have 8-10 years’ experience in credit and risk analysis within a reputable corporate bank.
As well as having some experience within management, you must also be proficient at analysing customer behaviour and adherence to regulatory frameworks to ensure the business grows profitably and successfully as a whole.
