Senior Oil Market Analyst required for leading energy supply company based in Germany.
You will be required to provide analysis on crude oil and refined products. Review and summarise external market intelligence on crude oil as well as products into concise reports. Understand price drivers and comment on fundamental events and risks. Work closely with traders to share data, analysis and insights. Prepare market reports and analysis on oil prices and key market fundamentals. Some ad-hoc analysis to support other energy teams.
The ideal candidate will have: Extensive knowledge of the oil and energy markets with strong analytical skills and ability to present and describe findings. A degree in economics, finance, business administration, engineering or equivalent. Strong commercial acumen; ability to identify financial risks and profitability on company, with an understanding of macroeconomics and politics.
