To work with OpenLink’s financial consultants and software engineers to conceptualize, analyze, and design financial market enhancements to OpenLink’s trading, risk management and back office software.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Consulting with clients to demonstrate how the system functionality can satisfy their business requirements
To convert user requirements and functional gaps into detailed software functional specifications that will be written using structured analysis and design techniques consistent with our technical architecture
Work closely with the software developers to ensure that enhancements are implemented in a proper and consistent manner
Create test plans for major enhancements to the software, to be used by the QA team for future regression testing
To assess the marketplace via existing or potential clients and to identify functional gaps within the application
To perform cost/benefit analysis to identify enhancements for consideration for existing or potential clients
Support sales efforts by performing demos, workshops and responding to RFI/RFPs
Document major enhancements to the software, to be used by the Documentation team in the creation of user guides
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALITIES:
At least 1 year experience with a financial services institution (in IT, Back, Middle or Front office)
Knowledge of at least one of the following markets – Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Equities, Precious Metals, FX or Credit Derivatives
Project experience of Systems implementation: requirements gathering, business analysis and/or testing
Knowledge of other financial trading, risk management, and back office software systems is a clear plus
Strong math or quantitative background
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, ability to write VBA macros is a plus
Bachelor’s degree is required
Ability to thrive under pressure and work well within a team
