Leading a small team, you will be responsible for driving strategic and tactical change within front and middle office, within the interest rates exotics business. In addition to product control, the team is responsible for facing off against front office, risk, IT and ops. Your responsibility will include systems and process change arising from:- -developments of new valuations methodologies -risk systems change -business requirements for new exotic products -p&l and regulatory requirements. You'll also be responsible for supporting significant business restructuring, such as transitioning between platforms and restructuring across regions. Analysing business requirements for new products, ranging from front-to-back IT infrastructure to business process re-engineering. The businesses are dynamic and fast-moving, resulting in significant portfolio of front office and finance driven change work. You'll be required to move from project to project at a fast pace and work on a variety of projects simultaneously; the type of projects that you will be exposed to can range from less than a month through to a year and a half in length. You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle from a product control perspective, including involvement and ownership of project initiation phases (definition, prioritisation and cost/benefit analysis), requirements gathering and testing (UAT, risk assessment and defect management) and deployment (training, impact assessment). This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad projects exposure in a first class working environment. You'll be an experienced product controller with a sound knowledge of exotic products either in rates, or another asset class, having driven change from either a line or projects perspective. You'll be looking to further your career in one of the leading change management teams in the City.
